In order to support location-based services, vehicles share their location with a server receive relevant data. Revealing vehicle’s compromises its privacy. One way reduce this problem is obfuscating the by adding artificial noise. However, increases area where true of vehicle may be. Hence, under limited available bandwidth, will provide fewer data location, reducing effectiveness service. To compensate for reduction, we allow that also shared through direct, ad hoc communication between neighboring vehicles. Through such Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) cooperation, impact obfuscation mitigated. set up, and assuming served have different levels, propose study game determines subscription should use, without explicit coordination among them. The aim maximizing expected received, either directly from or via V2V. Our analysis results show proposed V2V cooperation derived strategy lead significant performance increase compared other uncoordinated approaches, largely alleviates obfuscation.
